One Historic Address, Three Independent Practices
King William Law Center is a shared home for three established San Antonio law firms, set in a restored building in the King William Historic District a few blocks south of the Bexar County courthouse. The firms are independent. The address, and the standard, are shared.
To give San Antonio one trusted address for the legal moments that shape a life and a business, from a first will to a hard-fought trial. Three independent firms keep their own practices under one historic roof, refer work to whoever does it best, and make sure every client has a single, accountable attorney rather than a switchboard.

Our founder
Daniel R. Rutherford
The Center grew out of Dan Rutherford’s practice and his building at 923 S. Alamo. A member of the Texas bar since 1965 and a graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law, he is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and serves as a municipal judge in China Grove, Texas. After decades in wills, estates, probate, and family dispute resolution, he opened the doors of this address to a small group of independent attorneys he trusts, on one simple idea: keep your own firm, share the standard.
That idea is why a client who walks in for a will and leaves with a lawsuit, or arrives on a criminal matter and needs a civil hand, rarely has to leave the building to find the right one. S. Tyler Rutherford and Forrest Good both serve as Of Counsel to Rutherford PLLC.

Sharing a building is not the same as sharing a practice. Each firm here is its own business, with its own clients, its own files, and its own bar responsibility. What they share is a threshold, a referral habit, and a belief that a client is better served by a network of specialists than by a single generalist.

Rutherford PLLC, Crone Law PLLC, and Forrest Good PLLC are separate, independently owned firms. Your engagement is with one of them, and that firm alone is responsible for it.
Shared Referrals
Estates, family, business, civil, and criminal defense under one roof means the right attorney is usually a door away. The firms know each other’s work and refer accordingly.
